Current release: a early release with no advertising or analytics scripts. This notice describes the code currently included in SheetClarity, as distinct from the services that host the website and control access.
Who operates the project
SheetClarity is operated by Cristian Caldera. Invited testers can contact the operator through the conversation or invitation used to share this preview. A dedicated public support address has not been published. Help & support explains what to include in a request and what to leave out.
Spreadsheets and comparison data
Files you select are read into memory in this browser tab and processed by a worker. The comparison code does not upload file contents, file names, column names or results to a server. It does not use spreadsheet contents to train an AI model or build advertising profiles.
Loaded workbook data and results remain in tab memory until you clear the comparison, close the tab or reload the page. Selecting a replacement file replaces that version only after it has been successfully read and validated. A browser or operating system may retain its own temporary state, which this tool cannot control.
Exporting creates a local download. The downloaded report remains wherever your browser saves it, and clearing the comparison does not delete it. Reports can contain the same personal or confidential information as the source files. You control any later sharing or deletion.
Cookies and browser storage
The comparison application does not set advertising cookies, use analytics cookies, or write spreadsheets or preferences to local storage or IndexedDB. It uses temporary object URLs for downloads and releases them shortly afterward. The hosting provider may use its own technical information and storage to deliver the site and prevent abuse.
You can manage cookies in your browser. The comparison tool itself does not require an account. For information about the hosting provider, consult Hostinger’s privacy policy. That policy is separate from this tool’s local processing behavior.
Hosting and technical information
When you visit, hosting infrastructure necessarily receives information needed to deliver the pages, such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time. The Hostinger release does not include an application sign-in system. Their technical logs and retention are controlled by those services, not by the comparison engine. We have not configured an application database, file upload endpoint or analytics collector.
Do not put confidential information in a page URL. Links to external websites take you to services governed by their own policies. Our application scripts, styles and spreadsheet library are served with the site rather than loaded from a third-party content delivery network.
Advertising: not active in this release
No AdSense code or other advertising network is active. No advertising consent choice is requested or recorded by this release. There are currently no advertising cookies for this application to accept or reject.
If Google advertising is activated later, Google and participating vendors may use cookies or similar identifiers to select and measure ads, including personalization based on visits to this and other websites where permitted. The notice will be updated to identify the deployed services and the applicable choices before activation. Users can review Google’s advertising information and personalization controls, as well as how Google uses data on partner sites.
A future advertising release must provide the applicable consent and opt-out controls, including choices required for visitors in relevant US states. For personalized Google ads to visitors in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, that includes a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the required transparency framework. This page is an explanation, not a working consent platform.
Your choices and requests
Use Clear files to remove loaded workbooks from the application, close the tab to stop processing, and delete downloaded reports on your own device when they are no longer needed. We cannot retrieve or recover spreadsheet contents that were never uploaded. For questions or requests concerning information held by the operator, use the preview contact route described above; requests about hosting or account records may need to go to the relevant provider.
Changes to this notice
We will revise this notice when data handling changes. The date above identifies this version. Review it again before using a future release with advertising, accounts inside the tool, uploads or other new services.
